Winter 2025 Symposium announcement – Orthodox Academic Society

Dear beloved Brethren,

With the blessings of His Eminence Metropolitan Saba we would like to invite the AHOS community to join us at the 6th biannual Orthodox Academic Society Symposium, to be held Saturday, January 25th, from noon to 3:30 PM Eastern Standard Time, via Zoom. The theme for this symposium will be The Theology and Canons of the First Ecumenical Council at Nicaea.

The Orthodox Academic Society has as its mission to foster vibrant academic theological interactions among AHOS students, alumni, faculty and scholars-at-large, whose research and interests are aligned with the Orthodox Christian Tradition. The OAS Symposium offers AHOS graduate students a chance to present, discuss and defend their academic work before the AHOS community.

A Zoom link will be sent to OAS members two days before the event.
