ATS Executive Director Reflects on AHOS Graduation

Frank Yamada, Executive Director of The Association of Theological Schools (ATS), delivered a heartfelt keynote address to the graduates of the Antiochian House of Studies (AHOS). Reflecting on the importance of theological education, Yamada emphasized the joy of commencements as a highlight in his role, calling graduations “the best time of year for theological schools.”

In his address, Yamada congratulated the Class of 2024 on their significant achievement, acknowledging the hard work, support from loved ones, and the grace of God that brought them to this milestone. He expressed gratitude for the role AHOS plays in theological education, following the school’s accreditation by ATS in 2022.

“Congratulations on what God has done in and through you,” Yamada told the graduates, encouraging them to carry forward their formation and theological education to serve the mission of God in the world.
