The third day of the AHOS Residency brought together students and faculty for a dynamic mix of historical insight and practical learning.
The day began with Dr. Najim’s engaging lecture on Church History I, attended by students from multiple tracks in MTS and SSC programs. MDiv students participated in sessions on Church Administration with Dr. Boulos and explored advanced topics relevant to their ministerial training. PhD and DMin students engaged in focused discussions and practical pastoral training.
The afternoon featured a continuation of Church History II, with MDiv students diving into Byzantine Chant and Spiritual Father roles. The “East Meets West in Orthodoxy” session, led by Drs. O’Grady, Gergis, and Fenton, unified the residency with its exploration of Eastern and Western Christian traditions.
The day wrapped up with fruitful discussions and reflections, setting the stage for the remainder of the residency.
