The Antiochian House of Studies (AHOS), an accredited member institution of the Association of Theological Schools (ATS), is honored to participate in the 2026 ATS–COA Biennial Meeting.

This significant gathering brings together leaders in theological education for business sessions, plenary discussions, workshops, and collaborative engagement focused on the future of theological education.
AHOS is officially represented at this Biennial by its President, the Very Reverend Great Economos Fr. Michel Najim, accompanied by his wife, Khourye Eva Najim; the Right Reverend Archimandrite Fadi Rabbat, Academic Dean of AHOS; and AHOS Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Bass Massoud.
The AHOS representatives have been warmly received and widely appreciated by colleagues and peers, reflecting the institution’s growing presence and respected contribution within the ATS community.
The Biennial includes key institutional activities such as board nominations and voting for ATS governance, as well as the recognition of outstanding contributions to theological education.
Through its participation in this important event, AHOS reaffirms its commitment to academic excellence, ecclesial service, and active engagement within the broader community of accredited theological schools.
Day 2 Participation Highlights
On the second day of the 2026 ATS–COA Biennial Meeting, AHOS continued its active engagement in sessions and collaborative discussions with fellow member institutions.
A particularly meaningful highlight of the day was the presence of His Eminence Archbishop Daniel, a distinguished graduate of AHOS, who now serves as Academic Dean of St. Sophia Ukrainian Orthodox Theological Seminary. His participation stands as a living testimony to the formative impact of AHOS and its enduring contribution to theological education and ecclesial leadership.
It is both encouraging and inspiring to witness AHOS alumni flourishing in their ministries and leadership roles, especially within institutions that are also part of the ATS accredited community. This shared commitment reflects the ongoing strength of AHOS formation and its lasting contribution to the life of the Church and theological education.
AHOS remains dedicated to fostering these relationships, supporting the growth of its alumni, and contributing to the continued development of theological education within the ATS community.
